It is the only currency we can spend but never earn back. Because of this, every single moment should be cherished and utilised to its fullest potential.   Bold enough to say Enough Once my pension was secured, I opted for Voluntary Retirement (VRS) in 2007 as I was nearing fifty. My decision was driven by a few clear priorities: I feared that the pressure of high-level responsibilities and frequent transfers would eventually take a toll on my health. I wanted to cherish the time remaining with my daughters before their marriage and personally ensure they found the right matrimonial alliances. I had planned ahead and prepared for the financial aspects of post retirement life. I firmly believed that earning money shouldn’t be life’s only concern. For me, a simple life is not just a concept—it is the reality I live every day. By God’s grace, everything unfolded beautifully. Since 2011, I have been blessed with a life free of worries.
